Why do I need SecureIT Plus?
A: Without
computer protection, you are susceptible to computer damage, financial
loss, or both because of a computer virus or spyware that sneaks onto
your computer. In a recent issue of Consumer Reports, they reported that
if you use the Internet at home you have a 1-in-3 chance of being negatively
affected by computer viruses or spyware.
As
a subscriber to SecureIT Plus, you will no longer have to worry about
your anti-virus protection, Spyware protection, or anything else related

installed correctly or did not have it updated. SecureIT Plus is fully automated. We will
install it for you and once installed, you don’t have to manage the software
to make sure your protection stays updated. With SecureIT Plus it is taken
care of for you automatically. With Norton or McAfee you must install,
maintain, and make sure the service stays updated.
In
addition, besides up-to-date protection
from spyware, viruses, and other malicious programs, SecureIT Plus will
automatically keep your system current with critical patches to your Microsoft

take the time to stay current. Yet, without these patches your computer

for SecureIT Plus is free and the service is guaranteed. If you experience
problems with an Internet-delivered issue while using SecureIT Plus, we
will fix your computer free of charge. With Norton and McAfee you pay
for support calls, and if you experience problem with an Internet-delivered
issue, you will pay to receive assistance.

It seems more expensive, why?
A: To get
the same protection from Norton, McAfee, or another company you will have
to purchase multiple programs. SecureIT Plus is actually priced about
the same as if you were going to buy Norton Internet Security or other
similar products. With SecureIT Plus you get it all in one service, and
you don’t have to maintain and update it.

Q:
Will you (or someone else) have access to my computer if I use SecureIT
Plus?
A: Absolutely
not. SecureIT Plus was built with your security and privacy as first priority.
All the updates, scanning, and protection happen from your computer and
nothing is sent to us outside of the reporting statistics which are made
fully available to you on our reporting Web site and through our month
e-mail summary. The only time we have access to your machine is when you
explicitly grant it to us during your use of the Remote Installation or
Remote Support request. Even then we require that you put in a one time
use code that allows your computer to connect to our Operation Center
granting us permission to assist you.

A: No, the
SecureIT Plus service will provide you with everything you need to safely
navigate the Internet and effectively and efficiently use your computer.

receive a monthly e-mail detailing the activities that have been executed
by your SecureIT Plus software. In addition you can check the Online Reports
anytime, which are updated every 24 hours.

What if I have have/use a firewall?
A: Since
our service never contacts your computer, and the vast majority of firewalls
are designed to block INCOMING traffic, this software is compatible with
99+% of all firewalls.

What happens if I get a virus or some type of Spyware on my computer?

very unlikely case that you do get a virus or spyware threat on your computer
we will do our best to remove the problem at no cost.
