Modifying Your Dial-up Connection for Use with VoiceMail

If you have VoiceMail, and depending on the type of modem you have in your computer, you may not be able to get connected because of the stutter dial tone used by the VoiceMail system to alert you of new messages. By delaying your dialing sequence before you connect, you will be able to get connected. Please follow the instructions for the various operating systems as listed below. If you also use Call Waiting, you will want to make sure you add *70 to your dial-up string to cancel Call Waiting before connecting. If your operating system is not listed or you have questions, contact FBCom Technical Support at 1-888-TECHFBC.
